Mauricio’s Italian Restaurant in Cookeville has been serving authentic Italian Dishes to our guests throughout Middle Tennessee since 2002. We offer flavorful recipes cooked to order with the finest ingredients for an enjoyable dining experience.
Stunning Restaurant Interior and Exterior
The restaurant, formerly a residence, was built in 1910. It features hardwood floors, 12-foot ceilings, and five dining rooms, three of which have fireplaces.
We also have a patio that seats 25 people when the weather permits. Our business hosts weddings, rehearsal dinners, showers, parties, and various other events. We play old music from the ’40s and ’50s.
Providing You With a Unique Dining Experience
Mauricio’s Italian Restaurant offers a full selection of spirts and over 20 selections of wines, of which over half are Old World wines from Italy. Our dinner menu is available for lunch to include petite portions.
Reservations are required but you are welcome to call our service professionals and check the status cancelation list. When you dine with us, we want you to have a memorable dining experience different from a typical restaurant.

Our staff serves each course separately, allowing you to relax, take in the ambiance of candle lit tables, music from the 40-50’s and hard wood floors while enjoying a glass of wine, and savoring every bite of Italian cuisine.
A meal at Mauricio’s Italian Restaurant takes about an hour and half for two to three guests and two hours for four to six guests. If you have other plans after dining with us, inform your server upon arrival, and we can speed up your service.
